We have a spot open for a Manager of Internal Communication. This is a great gig in which you’ll oversee a wide range of communications developed on behalf of more than 8,200 District employees across our many departments and schools.
You will serve as Communications lead on District-wide change management initiatives and will oversee employee communication strategies and programs to ensure staff are informed and engaged at all levels of the organization. You’ll supervise a team of experienced, enthusiastic consultants who manage communications planning, content development, and various internal communications vehicles.
You’ve been in the communications business for more than 11 years and have been around the block. You’re always learning, but you’re experienced enough to be a strong mentor and servant leader to your team and colleagues. You’re a strong writer who knows how to adapt your written voice depending on audience, and you have embraced plain language as a philosophy. Your experience with digital communication platforms, including intranet, will put you ahead of the competition.
