Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • maintaining units such as revolving doors, display cases, safety and plate glass, store fronts, sloped glazing, curtain walls, barrel vaults, solariums and other support structures
  • installing and maintaining pre-fabricated glass, mirrors or glass on walls and front of buildings
  • repairing/replacing window glass as required

NOTE: The successful candidate must possess a valid Alberta driver’s license and be prepared to use personal vehicle to work sites within the City of Edmonton.

Requirements
  • must possess a valid Alberta Journeyperson Glazier certificate
  • minimum five years related experience
  • ability to undertake tasks involving heavy lifting up to 25kg; climb ladders and work at heights; undertake tasks involving frequent bending and kneeling; work in tight, cramped or confined spaces
  • ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • computer skills are an asset
Rate of Pay

$37.80 per hour ($3,024.00 bi-weekly)
