About Bannerman School

Bannerman School promotes a safe and secure family environment for learning. We offer a diverse range of programs to meet the unique needs of our elementary and junior high students.

Bannerman offers the Nellie McClung Girls' Junior High Alternative Program, Leveled Literacy for Grades 1 to 3, Balanced Literacy for Kindergarten to Grade 6, Strategies for Grades 4 to 6, the Leader in Me program and a success coach for at-risk students. Reading Recovery, Intervention for English Language Learning, Inclusive Education for Special Needs Students and Parent Coaching for Success (parenting skills, study skills, math and reading skills at home) are also available.

Bannerman offers the Nellie McClung Girls' Junior High Alternative Program, in-class Leveled Literacy support for Grades 1 to 3, Strategies classroom for Grades 4 to 6 and the Leader in Me program.  Support for English Language Learners and Inclusive Education for Special Needs Students are a part of the school.  A partnership with E4C offers pre-school parents the opportunity to be involved in a Parent Coaching for Success program (parenting skills, study skills, math and reading skills at home).
