These numbers represent enrolment on September 30 as submitted to Alberta Education.

Program enrolment may not equal a school's total enrolment because:

  • students may be enrolled in more than one program, and
  • some programs are not shown.

Enrolment data gives parents a general understanding of the number of students at a school or enrolled in a program. Although we’ve made every reasonable effort to ensure the data is accurate, there may still be errors. To confirm enrolment, contact the school.

About Brander Gardens School

Brander Gardens School focuses on academic achievement, along with social, emotional and physical growth and development. Our students have opportunities to develop leadership skills and provide service to the school and community. We work closely with our parent council to support our students, families and community.

We offer both regular and French Immersion programming for K-6 students, and French as a Second Language instruction for regular students in Grades 4-6. We use Guided Reading, Levelled Literacy Intervention, Mathletics, balanced assessments and differentiated instruction to support all learners in an inclusive setting. We have a school-wide focus on wellness, supported by the Zones of Regulation program. Before- and after-school care is provided by a not-for-profit group. The school gym is leased to community groups five evenings a week and we build partnerships with the community.

SCHOOL PHILOSOPHY

Our core values:

  • We foster respect, responsibility and accountability.
  • We are a community of learners and celebrate all successes.
  • We have a positive environment that promotes collaboration, as we make decisions based on what is best for students.
