Elmwood School is a place where every child belongs. Our motto is “Every child, every day … no exceptions.” Elmwood School offers three programs: Science Alternative, which emphasizes asking questions and learning by doing projects, for Kindergarten to Grade 6; the Individual Support Program for students with severe physical, medical and cognitive learning needs, for Grades 1 to 6; and a Pre-Kindergarten program serving children 2 years and 8 months old to 5 years old with mild, moderate or severe learning needs, as well as those from the local community.
Our three programs provide a rich tapestry of expertise, knowledge and resources, which enhances the quality of experiences for all students. An out-of-school care program is available, and we lease space to the Edmonton Regional Learning Consortium.
