These numbers represent enrolment on September 30 as submitted to Alberta Education.

Program enrolment may not equal a school's total enrolment because:

  • students may be enrolled in more than one program, and
  • some programs are not shown.

Enrolment data gives parents a general understanding of the number of students at a school or enrolled in a program. Although we’ve made every reasonable effort to ensure the data is accurate, there may still be errors. To confirm enrolment, contact the school.

About King Edward School

King Edward School is a safe, caring place offering an arts-enriched environment where students explore, discover, learn and grow. We offer regular Kindergarten to Grade 6 programming and Interactions programming for students with autism from Grades 1 to 6. All students receive music and French instruction; Grades 1 to 3 receive Frusic while Grades 4 to 6 receive music and French as a Second Language.

We focus on academic excellence, inclusion, programming for individual differences and the arts. The school serves as an important centre of community life and is a Fringe venue in the summer. Our school provides space for a childcare centre and nursery school and for community groups to meet.

SCHOOL PHILOSOPHY

We believe:

  • In developing a connected community of learners who respect and accept each other
  • In enabling all individuals to succeed and aspire to higher levels of learning
  • In making choices that foster good citizenship
  • In sharing in the joys and challenges of learning and growing together
