These numbers represent enrolment on September 30 as submitted to Alberta Education.

Program enrolment may not equal a school's total enrolment because:

  • students may be enrolled in more than one program, and
  • some programs are not shown.

Enrolment data gives parents a general understanding of the number of students at a school or enrolled in a program. Although we’ve made every reasonable effort to ensure the data is accurate, there may still be errors. To confirm enrolment, contact the school.

About Mee-Yah-Noh School

Mee-Yah-Noh School is focused on ensuring that every student experiences success in learning. We provide Kindergarten to Grade 6 programming with Balanced Literacy in Grades 1 to 6. We also offer Leveled Literacy, Community Learning Skills and Interactions. Our full-day Kindergarten has a strong focus on providing background knowledge and developing language and vocabulary.

Students in special needs classes come from a number of communities. We have a supportive school council and parent association that include parents and community members, and we partner with community organizations to help meet the needs of students and families. There is a private daycare in the school that provides some after-school care, and we lease space to ABC Head Start.

SCHOOL PHILOSOPHY

We believe:

  • That every student is responsible for his or her own learning and behaviour
  • In providing security and a sense of belonging and community
  • That parents and school staff work in partnership to develop all aspects of a student’s education

SCHOOL NAME
