These numbers represent enrolment on September 30 as submitted to Alberta Education.

Program enrolment may not equal a school's total enrolment because:

  • students may be enrolled in more than one program, and
  • some programs are not shown.

Enrolment data gives parents a general understanding of the number of students at a school or enrolled in a program. Although we’ve made every reasonable effort to ensure the data is accurate, there may still be errors. To confirm enrolment, contact the school.

About Overlanders School

Overlanders is a safe, supportive school. We provide students the opportunity to develop academic skills, embrace positive attitudes and acquire comprehensive knowledge. Our programs include regular elementary (K to 6), French as a Second Language (Grade 4 to 6), Behaviour and Learning Assistance and Opportunity.

Through our Character Education program students become resilient, lifelong learners as they build connection to our school, our families and our community. At Overlanders, students can participate in many clubs: Breakfast Club, AMA School Patrols, Friendship Club, our Division II Leadership Team, intramurals, ATB Junior Banking, Art Club, Knitting Club and Ukulele Club. Throughout the year, parents and families share in student learning at special events such as Celebration of Learning, Winter Concert and Numeracy Night.

Parents, businesses and community organizations are vital participants in the Overlanders learning experience. Parent volunteers are always welcome. The parent society (OCRPSA) raises and contributes funding for field trips and student activities. Overlanders is an active part of the community through fundraising and other outreach initiatives.

SCHOOL PHILOSOPHY

We believe:

  • That all students can learn and are responsible for their learning
  • That learning is active, ongoing and enhanced when parents, students and teachers work together
  • That caring and resilient students will be well equipped to deal with the challenges of life
