These numbers represent enrolment on September 30 as submitted to Alberta Education.

Program enrolment may not equal a school's total enrolment because:

  • students may be enrolled in more than one program, and
  • some programs are not shown.

Enrolment data gives parents a general understanding of the number of students at a school or enrolled in a program. Although we’ve made every reasonable effort to ensure the data is accurate, there may still be errors. To confirm enrolment, contact the school.

About Rideau Park School

At Rideau Park School, we are a community of leaders. Through our Leader in Me Program, which utilizes the principles of Stephen Covey's The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, our desire is for students to become leaders in their own right while feeling unique, important and worthy. By providing meaningful leadership and citizenship opportunities, we know students will reach their true potential as leaders and fine citizens in our community. Students are taught to think with the end in mind, set goals and be proactive in their learning, while developing strong 21st century literacy and citizenship skills across the curriculum.

We offer elementary students the German Bilingual Program and the regular academic program. The school has a history of engaged parent and community involvement and an active School Council, with financial support from the Friends of Rideau Park Society and additional financial support from the Association for English German Bilingual Education of Edmonton (AEGBEE). In our building, we partner with two preschools (German and English) and an out of school care program. We create a safe, caring and mutually respectful learning environment in a multi-cultural setting.

SCHOOL PHILOSOPHY

We believe:

  • That strong bonds between home and school help students reach their true potential as leaders in our community
  • In encouraging students to set goals and be proactive in their learning, while developing strong skills
