Rutherford School’s staff, students and parents are committed to excellence. We believe that all students are capable of personal excellence. We offer the regular program from Kindergarten to Grade 6, with French as a Second Language taught to all students. To meet the individual needs and abilities of our students, class sizes are kept as small as possible. A number of initiatives allow students to develop at an individual rate, so that advanced students can forge ahead and students facing particular challenges have those needs addressed.
Rutherford School has a history dating back to 1911. Our close-knit, family-like atmosphere embraces community participation, and we work to build a positive, safe environment in which students, parents, teachers and community members work respectfully together.
