Decision

REASONS FOR THE PROPOSED CHANGE

This decision will allow students to attend a school closer to home and transition to junior high and high school with their peers.

CHOOSING TO REMAIN AT YOUR CURRENT SCHOOL

Students from the Windermere Estates Southwest neighbourhood who currently attend McKee School can stay at the school. However, yellow bus service will no longer be provided because students would not be attending their designated school.

Siblings will also be able to attend, as long as an older sibling is currently attending the school at the time of pre-enrolment and both students will be attending the school at the same time in 2019-20.

GETTING TO SCHOOL

Yellow bus service will be provided to eligible elementary students in the Windermere Estates Southwest neighbourhood who attend their designated school.

PRE-ENROLMENT FOR THE 2019-20 SCHOOL YEAR

Parents with children currently enrolled in a District school can sign into SchoolZone and choose their preferred school for next year between March 11 and April 15, 2019. Students are guaranteed entry to their designated school if they register or pre-enrol by April 15, 2019 at 4 p.m.
