Community Learning Skills/Behaviour and Learning Assistance
Community Learning Skills/Behaviour and Learning Assistance programming support students with moderate cognitive disabilities, significant developmental delays and behavioural difficulties.
Goals

Program delivery
- Clear expectations and regular routines in a structured classroom environment

- Smaller classes for more targeted instruction
- Ongoing instruction in anger management and behaviour in social settings
- Field trips to enhance learning
Eligibility
Students must be 5 ½ to 20 years old with chronic, severe anti-social behaviours and a clinical diagnosis. Contact your child’s school for information about eligibility and specialized programming options.
Alberta curriculum
All Edmonton Public Schools programming is based on curriculum determined by Alberta Education. Students enrolled in Community Learning Skills/Behaviour and Learning Assistance will receive the same high-quality education offered in all of our programs.
Transportation
