View the minimum daily requirements for student learning for:
TIME |
Teacher to provide a schedule. |
SYNCHRONOUS LEARNING Meet with the online teacher daily to meet learning requirements for Kindergarten or the student’s individualized program plan (IPP) |
Half-day: Students have 30 to 60 minutes with their teacher at the beginning of the day and a check-in at the end of their half day.
Full-day: Students have 30 to 60 minutes with their teacher in the morning and afternoon. |

SYNCHRONOUS LEARNING Meet with the online teacher daily to determine a schedule that best meets learning outcomes. |
Students will meet with the online teacher for 60 minutes of instruction each day. Students will also have access to four additional hours of individual/small group instruction to support their learning. |
ASYNCHRONOUS LEARNING Complete independent work throughout the day. |
Students will complete learning activities, similar to homework, throughout the day with caregiver support. |
SPECIALIST TEACHERS |
Teachers will work with students' primary teacher to determine how to deliver the subject. |

Teacher to provide a schedule. |
SYNCHRONOUS LEARNING |
Students will meet with the online teacher for 1.25 hours of instruction each day. Students will also have access to 3.75 hours of individual/small group instruction to support their learning. |
ASYNCHRONOUS LEARNING |
Students will complete learning activities, similar to homework, throughout the day with caregiver support where needed. |
SPECIALIST TEACHERS |
Teachers will work with students' primary teacher to determine how to deliver the subject. |
Junior high students will follow a three-day rotating schedule.

SYNCHRONOUS LEARNING |
Students will meet with the online teacher for 1.5 hours of instruction each day. Students will also have access to 3.5 hours of individual/small group instruction to support their learning. |
ASYNCHRONOUS LEARNING |
Students will complete learning activities, similar to homework, throughout the day with caregiver support where needed. |
TIME |
Teacher to provide a schedule. |
SYNCHRONOUS LEARNING |
Students will meet with the online teacher for approximately 75-80 minutes of instruction per course. During that time, there will be a mix of direct instruction from the teacher, monitoring for student learning and independent work. This will vary from day to day. |
ASYNCHRONOUS |
Students will complete learning activities, similar to homework, independently. |
High school students will follow a daily schedule. There are four periods per day and students may have up to four courses, two in the morning and two in the afternoon.
