Read our COVID-19 Division Re-entry Strategy for information about how we’re welcoming students and staff back into schools this September.
Sherwood School strives to meet the unique needs of each of our Kindergarten to Grade 6 students. We place with a strong emphasis on supporting them in developing to their full potential in literacy and numeracy.
We provide Full-day Kindergarten and we are a Division site for the Opportunity Program. Sherwood School works closely with Inclusive Learning Services to provide support to students with specialized needs, and we have staff from The Family Center on site who provide a variety of supports to students and their families.
We also offer the Kids on Track after-school program, Coyote Pride programming and the Healthy Active Community Kids program. All students receive a morning snack and a breakfast program is available. There is an out-of-school care program in our building as well as the White Cloud Aboriginal Head Start Program.
