At Belmead School, learning is a lifelong process, and the school, parents and community work in partnership to ensure the development of responsible citizens. We provide a safe, caring environment for elementary students. Our school offers the Interactions Program for students with autism from Grades 1 to 6. Students with special needs are supported so they can be in regular classrooms.
Belmead School provides full-day Kindergarten as well as French as a Second Language for Grades 4 to 6. Our school is part of the Apple Project Promoting Active Living and Healthy Eating (APPLE Schools), an initiative of the School of Public Health at the University of Alberta. Through the project, we help students, staff, parents and the community make healthy choices. Belmead has many community partnerships, and the Aboriginal Head Start program leases space in our school.
