These numbers represent enrolment on September 30 as submitted to Alberta Education.

Program enrolment may not equal a school's total enrolment because:

  • students may be enrolled in more than one program, and
  • some programs are not shown.

Enrolment data gives parents a general understanding of the number of students at a school or enrolled in a program. Although we’ve made every reasonable effort to ensure the data is accurate, there may still be errors. To confirm enrolment, contact the school.

About Bessie Nichols School

Bessie Nichols School inspires and enables all students to achieve success in learning. We are a Kindergarten to Grade 9 school that offers regular programming as well as French as a Second Language in Grades 4 to 9.

Kindergarten to Grade 5 students receive music instruction, and our Grade 6 students take band. Grades 7 to 9 have the opportunity to take art, drama, band, food studies, and communication technology classes. Students with special needs are an integral part of our school community and have individual program plans to support them.

SCHOOL PHILOSOPHY

We believe:

  • In meeting the varying needs of students and giving them the support they need to succeed
  • That parents play an important role in supporting students
