These numbers represent enrolment on September 30 as submitted to Alberta Education.

Program enrolment may not equal a school's total enrolment because:

  • students may be enrolled in more than one program, and
  • some programs are not shown.

Enrolment data gives parents a general understanding of the number of students at a school or enrolled in a program. Although we’ve made every reasonable effort to ensure the data is accurate, there may still be errors. To confirm enrolment, contact the school.

About Steinhauer School

Steinhauer School is a Kindergarten to Grade 6 school serving the Steinhauer, Ermineskin, Paisley, Graydon Hill, Hays Ridge and Heritage Valley neighbourhoods in South Edmonton.

We offer regular programming for Kindergarten to Grade 6 students. We offer the Connections program for students in Grades 1 to 6 who meet eligibility requirements. Students in Grades 4 to 6 learn French as a Second Language.

We are committed to providing a supportive learning environment that fosters growth for all learners as they prepare to meet present and future challenges. We believe that a positive learning environment is one in which students are encouraged to take risks and understand that mistakes are an important part of the learning process.

At Steinhauer, we focus strongly on literacy, numeracy and student leadership. We encourage students to be safe, to respect themselves and others and to be responsible.

SCHOOL PHILOSOPHY

At Steinhauer School:

  • We believe that all students can thrive and be successful in an environment that is kind, respectful and safe.
  • Our goal is to ensure all students feel a sense of belonging while developing empathy and compassion for others.
  • Together, we nurture safe and trusting relationships that support risk-taking, honour diversity and develop leadership.
  • All students follow the RRSPs: Respect, Responsibility, Safety and Pride.
