Learning Stores help students who are working, upgrading marks, returning to school after a break or need more flexibility than a regular school offers.
At a Learning Store, students work independently and focus on one course at a time. Teachers are there to provide academic help and individual support. Students enrolled in a Learning Store are asked to attend for at least 10 hours each week.
Learning Stores are mostly for students in Grades 11 and 12, as well as students in their fourth and fifth year of high school. There are four locations across the city: Blue Quill, Northgate, Westgate and Whyte Ave. You can register at a Learning Store any time throughout the year.

LearnWrite is a partnership between Outreach Programs and several Edmonton Public Schools senior high schools. It can help high school students stay on track with their current schedule and graduation goals. Students can take courses that do not fit into their regular high school timetable or get specific prerequisite courses needed for post-secondary education.
For more information, students can contact their high school.
