Program Description
Blended programming combines parent-directed education and teacher-directed education. This approach allows parents to shape their child’s education while having access to educational resources and teachers who are knowledgeable in home education.

Program delivery

- Choice in which subjects parents wish to teach for parent-directed instruction

- Participation in field trips and on-site enrichment activities with other home-schooled students and their families
- Opportunities for students and families to interact and share information through online learning communities
Eligibility
Students must be in Grades 1 to 12. For more information about eligibility and programming options, contact Argyll Centre.
Funding
Supplemental funding to cover costs related to programming for students in Grades 1 to 9 is available through reimbursement. For more information about funding, contact Argyll Centre.
Alberta curriculum
- Teacher-directed programming is based on curriculum determined by Alberta Education.
- Parent-directed programming may include any, some or all of the curriculum determined by Alberta Education.
