These numbers represent enrolment on September 30 as submitted to Alberta Education.

Program enrolment may not equal a school's total enrolment because:

  • students may be enrolled in more than one program, and
  • some programs are not shown.

Enrolment data gives parents a general understanding of the number of students at a school or enrolled in a program. Although we’ve made every reasonable effort to ensure the data is accurate, there may still be errors. To confirm enrolment, contact the school.

About Eastglen School

Eastglen serves students from the neighbourhood junior high schools of Highlands, Ivor Dent and John D. Bracco. Many of our students live outside Eastglen’s catchment area and come from other junior high schools.

We’re also part of Campus EPSB, where students from other high schools can enrol in our performing arts program, and our students can enrol in computer programming and steel construction at other high schools. In addition to the regular academic program, we offer:

  • Advanced Placement Academic Program
  • Performing and Visual Arts (art, dance, guitar and musical theatre)
  • Physical Education and Sports Performance (golf, soccer and swimming)
  • International Languages (French and Spanish)
  • English as a Second Language (ESL)
  • Career and Technology Studies (automotive mechanics, computer science, construction, esthetics, foods, photography and robotics)

To meet the needs of students with special needs, we offer Community Living Skills (CLS), Interactions and Knowledge and Employability (K and E) programs. Eastglen also has a comprehensive co-curricular program providing students with a variety of activities, coupled with a strong student leadership program.

The staff at Eastglen High School believe:

  • Students can excel when they are challenged in a supportive, encouraging environment
  • Students register in the most appropriate courses, commensurate with their abilities, to optimize success and maximize future opportunities
  • In helping all students achieve their potential by maintaining high education standards and nuturing exemplary citizenship within a secure and supportive environment

At Eastglen High School, our students and staff will develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes to achieve success.
