About James Gibbons School

James Gibbons School is committed to establishing high academic standards and excellent conduct in a welcoming and inclusive school community. Traditional values guide our program with consistent expectations around our core character traits of Respect, Responsibility and Self-control. Traditional methods and practices make us unique. We provide direct instruction of basic skills which include the separate instruction of phonics, grammar, spelling and mathematics computation. French as a Second Language is offered in Grades 4, 5 and 6.

Our active School Council and James Gibbons Parents Association ensure that learning outcomes are enhanced with a variety of Field Trips, Special Guest Presenters and School Events. On-site daycare and after-school care are available.
