About Kensington School

Kensington School serves students from the Kensington and Carlisle communities. Kensington School has provided quality education to students for the past 63 years. We are proud of our history and excited about our future!

Students at Kensington School represent a wide range of cultural, linguistic and religious backgrounds, all working together toward a common goal: student success. We have a vibrant, diverse community of learners where differences are celebrated and students are capable of success. Programming is provided for K to Grade 6 in the regular program, K to Grade 9 in the LOGOS Christian program, Grades 1 to 6 in the Interactions Program and Grades 4 to 6 in the Literacy Program.

Students at Kensington participate in a variety of educational experiences including school field trips, sports teams, clubs and intervention groups to target individual student needs.

SCHOOL PHILOSOPHY

Kensington School is a welcoming and inclusive school community where diversity is celebrated and valued, and where relationships are nurtured. Emphasis is placed on creating a learning environment by supporting the development of meaningful relationships and strong connections. 

At Kensington School, we believe that students' academic achievement is a collective responsibility, shared by students and their families, school staff and community partnerships. Through a collaborative approach, working with our partners, we will maximize the potential of all students.
