About Mayfield School

Mayfield School is a caring, inclusive school that serves the intellectual, social, emotional and physical needs of students while fostering self-esteem, dignity and uniqueness. Our school offers regular, Interactions and Pre-Kindergarten programming. We use a multi-disciplinary approach to support students based on their individual strengths and needs. Our focus is on enhancing cognitive, social, physical, communication and behaviour skills.

Students in our Pre-Kindergarten program come from throughout west Edmonton. Parents from both programs are active on the school council and involved in school activities.

We believe:

  • That individuals have different strengths as learners and their needs must be met on an individual basis
  • That citizenship is promoted by nurturing a strong sense of community and a supportive, collaborative relationship between students, staff and parents

Schools that show attendance areas
