Program Enrolment 2020-21View more information

These numbers represent enrolment on September 30 as submitted to Alberta Education.

Program enrolment may not equal a school's total enrolment because:

  • students may be enrolled in more than one program, and
  • some programs are not shown.

Enrolment data gives parents a general understanding of the number of students at a school or enrolled in a program. Although we’ve made every reasonable effort to ensure the data is accurate, there may still be errors. To confirm enrolment, contact the school.

About McArthur School

McArthur School fosters the growth of students so they can contribute positively to their global community. We offer a Pre-Kindergarten program along with the regular program and the Strategies Program. Our school encourages citizenship with our leadership program where students can build leadership capacity in the school. We also have many clubs in our school such as choir, running club, chess club, reading club and many more. McArthur continues to offer French as a second language and drama to students in Grades 4, 5 and 6 and we have strong intervention programs to support literacy, numeracy, mental health and social skills to any student in need.

Our school council is very active in providing financial support for many extra opportunities like field trips, technology, in-school presentations and school-wide events. We welcome all parents and guardians to participate in various school activities.

We believe:

  • In giving each student the opportunity to realize his or her intellectual, physical, social and emotional potential
  • In providing an appropriate and challenging learning experience in a secure environment
  • In promoting citizenship, responsible behaviour and respect for differences while nurturing independent thinking, self-worth, dignity and lifelong learning
