About Meyokumin School

Meyokumin School promotes and supports the academic success of all students. We offer regular and Cogito programs. A Punjabi Language and Culture course is provided for all students in the regular program and for Cogito students in Grades 4 to 6. Students in the regular program receive French as a Second Language in Grades 4 to 6 while those in the Cogito Program receive French in Grades 1 through 6. Our regular program includes students who require English Language Learning and others who require specialized learning supports.

Our partnerships with community organizations provide additional supports for students and families.

SCHOOL NAME

Meyokumin (phonetic spelling for Mîyokamin) means “good flowing water” in Cree.
