Read our COVID-19 Division Re-entry Strategy for information about how we’re welcoming students and staff back into schools this September.
Thorncliffe School builds habits in students that strengthen relationships, develop integrity and instil a desire to succeed. In addition to our regular Kindergarten to Grade 6 program, we provide English Language Learning, Literacy, Opportunity, and Behaviour and Learning Assistance programs. We also offer special assistance for students with hearing and/or physical impairments. Balanced Literacy, Leveled Literacy Intervention and Middle Years Literacy Intervention are available for students experiencing difficulty with reading and comprehension.
Our school has the Leader in Me program and uses the seven habits to help all students develop leadership and citizenship skills. We provide a daily snack program and help our families with economic and social supports where needed.
