These numbers represent enrolment on September 30 as submitted to Alberta Education.

Program enrolment may not equal a school's total enrolment because:

  • students may be enrolled in more than one program, and
  • some programs are not shown.

Enrolment data gives parents a general understanding of the number of students at a school or enrolled in a program. Although we’ve made every reasonable effort to ensure the data is accurate, there may still be errors. To confirm enrolment, contact the school.

About Nellie Carlson School

SCHOOL PHILOSOPHY

Our school philosophy is based on current research and guides all school decisions.

We believe:

  • All students can achieve high levels of learning
  • In focusing on learning: Teaching without learning is not really teaching. It is presenting. At Nellie Carlson, we ensure students learn.
  • In focusing on collaboration: Teams of staff teach the same grade-level essential outcomes using common assessments. Interdependence means all students are assured equity of learning.
  • In focusing on results: Teaching and learning decisions are based on assessment data. Staff set learning targets for student achievement and these are revised and refined to make sure students learn at high levels.
