Centre High School’s mission is to create and provide flexible, innovative programming to help students realize success in their career and educational goals. Our school focuses on the unique needs of students 17 to 20 years of age. Students must be 19 years of age by September 1 of the school year they plan to attend.
We provide a full range of diploma courses scheduled on a 10- or 20-week timetable based on program needs and individual learning styles. Students can also take alternative programs that they are interested in.
We are in the heart of the city’s downtown and serve students from across Edmonton. We share facilities with the business community, which creates a mature, businesslike setting and allows us to partner with businesses to provide hands-on training to our students. Our post-secondary and government partnerships also provide opportunities to support student career plans. In addition, students can get help from our Career Centre and Academic Support and Online Centre.
