We feel it's vital to connect with the community - organizations, government agencies, post-secondary institutions, businesses, service groups and the public at large - in order to provide students with a range of enhanced learning experiences.

As a community member, you can get involved by:

STAYING INFORMED

To stay informed:

• attend public board meetings
• understand board policies and read board minutes
• keep up-to-date on local issues such as elections, government policies, and teacher bargaining

LENDING A HELPING HAND

To share your time and ideas:

• participate in public consultations, opinion polls and surveys
• contact the administration and your Trustee with suggestions and concerns
• share information about your non-profit organization
• provide feedback about policies under review
• volunteer to support school activities and programs
• do research with the Division
