The Michael A. Strembitsky Award of Excellence was established to honour the Division’s longest-serving superintendent, Michael A. Strembitsky. It is given to the top three Grade 12 students who model inclusivity, leadership and compassion, and have demonstrated excellence in their overall performance.

At the June 23, 2020 board meeting, the Board of Trustees recognized 20 nominees and announced the Gold ($2,000), Silver ($1,500) and Bronze ($1,000) award winners.

Congratulations to the recipients and all the nominees! Read their full biographies to learn more about their outstanding achievements and see the full list of this year’s nominees.
