At Overlanders School, we foster a welcoming, caring, safe and respectful learning environment. We encourage students to be considerate, productive citizens in the school and in the community. We provide students the opportunity to develop academic skills, embrace positive attitudes and acquire comprehensive knowledge.
Our school provides regular programming from Kindergarten to Grade 6 as well as the Connections and Opportunity programming from Grades 4 to 6. Students receive French as a Second Language instruction beginning in Grade 4. Through our Character Education program, students become resilient, lifelong learners as they build connections to the school, families and community.
Students can participate in the E4C Breakfast Club every morning. Throughout the year, parents and families share in student learning through online goal setting, parent-teacher conferences and celebration of learning. Parents, businesses and community organizations are vital participants in the Overlanders’ learning experience. Parent input is always welcome. The Parent Society (OCRPSA) raises and contributes funding for field trips, school resources and student activities. Overlanders is an active part of the community through fundraising and other outreach initiatives.
