Read our COVID-19 Division Re-entry Strategy for information about how we’re welcoming students and staff back into schools this September.
At Overlanders School, we foster a welcoming, caring, safe and respectful learning environment. We encourage students to be considerate, productive citizens in the school and in the community. We provide students with opportunities to develop academic skills, embrace positive attitudes and acquire comprehensive knowledge.
Our programs include regular elementary (Grades K to 6), French as a Second Language (Grades 4 to 6), Behaviour and Learning Assistance and Opportunity. Through our Character Education program, students become resilient, lifelong learners as they build connections to our school, our families and our community.
Students can participate in many clubs: Breakfast Club, AMA School Patrols, Culture Club, Division II Leadership Team, Intramurals, ATB Junior Banking, Choir and Guitar Club. Throughout the year, we host special events for parents and families such as Celebration of Learning, Winter Concert and Numeracy Night.
Parents, businesses and community organizations are vital participants in the learning experience. Parent volunteers are always welcome. The Parent Society (OCRPSA) raises funds for field trips, school resources and student activities. Overlanders is an active part of the community through fundraising and other outreach initiatives.
