The Edmonton Public School Board is responsible for the education of over 86,000 students in the city of Edmonton. Nine Trustees are elected to the Board every four years during municipal elections. Their mandate is to ensure that students receive the best education possible in Edmonton's more than 200 public schools. Learn more about the Board's responsibilities and duties.
In March 2017, the Province approved Trustee electoral ward boundary changes. These new ward boundaries come into effect for the Board of Trustees being elected in Edmonton's 2017 municipal election on October 16. Review the new Edmonton Public School District ward maps to find your ward.
