News item: Building for the future: a wave of new schools for the Division

This is an exciting time for Edmonton Public Schools. Our city is growing and to make sure every student has a place to learn, the provincial government has funded a number of school projects for the future.

Recently, the provincial government announced funding for four new schools as part of the 2026 budget. This announcement is an important step as the Division continues to welcome new students.

  • K to 9 in Aster
  • K to 9 in Stillwater
  • K to 6 in Crystallina Nera
  • K to 9 in River’s Edge
