New funding for 32 modular classrooms

More student spaces are on the way to Edmonton Public Schools! On Friday, April 17, through the Schools Now program, the provincial government announced more than $200 million in funding for more modular classrooms in Alberta.
To help manage our rising enrolment, the provincial government has funded an additional 32 modular classrooms across 12 schools. This will add 800 student spaces to the Division.
Work is already underway to install the new modular classrooms throughout the 2026–27 school year. This recent investment by the Government of Alberta in student learning spaces is in addition to several new school projects already underway.
