Ward: H Term: October 2017-2021
Re-elected to his second term on the Board of Trustees, Nathan Ip is an advocate for equity and the inclusive education of individuals with developmental disabilities. He brings over 15 years of community development experience, having worked on province-wide youth engagement and community initiatives. During his first term, Nathan advocated to work more closely with the city and the province to build community hub model schools.
Previously, Nathan worked as the co-ordinator of inclusive post-secondary education at MacEwan University and Inclusion Alberta. He brings extensive board development experience, having been an instructor with Alberta Culture’s board development program. He has served on the boards of the Community Services Advisory Board for the City of Edmonton, ASSIST Community Services, Edmonton Food Bank, among others.
