Ward: I Term: 2025 to 2029

Jan (she/her) is a proud graduate of Edmonton Public Schools. She holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and comes from a long line of educators. Her experiences as a student, teacher and school leader within the Division have deepened her belief that relationships are at the heart of all we do. She believes schools should be vibrant community hubs – welcoming spaces where every student and family feels connected, supported and valued.

Jan is deeply committed to being a strong and effective advocate for public education. She believes that public schools are the foundation of a healthy and inclusive society and that Trustees must work collaboratively with families, staff and all levels of government to ensure equitable funding, appropriate resources and opportunities for every learner. Building and sustaining strong relationships remain at the centre of her work and vision for Edmonton Public Schools.
