The deadline to apply for yellow bus service is June 1, 2021 to make sure your child receives service on the first day of school. You can always apply for bus service throughout the year as bus routes change.
Students need to apply for yellow bus service if they are new to Edmonton Public Schools. For the 2020-21 school year, students also need to apply if they are:
If your child is a current Division student attending classes in person and applied to use yellow bus service for the 2020-21 school year, you do not need to apply for Quarter 4.
Between June 21 and August 12, families will choose whether their child will learn online or in person for the first half of the 2021-22 school year.
If you are considering applying for bus service, you should do so by the June 1 deadline even if you are undecided about how your child will learn. Yellow bus service is automatically cancelled if you choose online learning.

If your child is new to the Division and has been approved for bus service for the 2021-22 school year, you will receive a letter in mid-August that includes the yellow bus:
Once you have access to SchoolZone, that is where you can find yellow bus information. Route information is also available at your child’s school and through SchoolZone prior to the first day of school.
If your child rides the yellow bus, you can apply for continued service to their current school in SchoolZone no later than June 1, 2021.
