Full-day Kindergarten programming supports children living in socially vulnerable neighbourhoods who would benefit from extra time in class to build important skills in an inclusive, play-based environment.
Children must be four years old on or before March 1 and live within the school’s attendance area to be eligible for Full-Day Kindergarten.
Schools may have limited spaces available to children outside their attendance area. Parents are advised to follow the Kindergarten registration process and apply to the school they are interested in their child attending. Once registration applications are in, any spaces available may be filled using a random selection process.

All Edmonton Public Schools programming is based on curriculum determined by Alberta Education. Children enrolled in Full-day Kindergarten will receive the same high-quality education offered in all of our programs.
