French Bilingual Awards

This award was made possible by the Edmonton French Bilingual Education Society (EFBES). The EFBES was a volunteer committee made up of parents and children in the French Immersion program within Edmonton Public Schools. It suspended its operations in 1991, and the society’s funds were donated to the Division to support and recognize students who are enrolled in French language programming.

PURPOSE

The purpose of this award is to recognize one Grade 6 and one Grade 9 French Immersion student, and one Grade 12 student enrolled in French programming, who are registered in Edmonton Public Schools and demonstrate excellent overall performance in French and positive attitudes towards learning French.

AWARD AMOUNTS: Grade 6 $100, Grade 9 $200, Grade 12 $250
