Enrolment begins

New students can register online, including students entering Kindergarten. Registering after March 25 may limit your options to schools with available space.

Parents of current students can select their preferred school for next year by signing into their parent SchoolZone account. Learn more about pre-enrolling in SchoolZone.

February 2, 2026

Entrance criteria school notification

Deadline for entrance criteria schools to notify students if they have or have not met the criteria.

March 18, 2026

Registration and pre-enrolment close at 4 p.m.

Random selection and lottery notification

Deadline for schools conducting a random selection or lottery to notify students if they have or have not been accepted. More about enrolment limits and random selection.

Deadline to apply for yellow bus service

Complete your application before the deadline to make sure your child has service on the first day of school.

Current students: If your child currently rides the yellow bus, you can apply for continued service to their current school in SchoolZone.
