Ward: D Term: 2025 to 2029

Nickela Anderson is a parent, researcher and community advocate. 

With a professional background in research, evaluation and public engagement, she believes the voices of those most impacted by policy—students, families and educators—help shape meaningful solutions.
 
A parent of three Edmonton Public Schools students, Nickela brings a deep understanding of the importance of inclusion, equity and individualized support in education. She has held leadership roles on school councils and parent associations across three schools, where her focus has always been on building inclusive, safe and healthy school communities.

Nickela believes that meaningful change requires authentic collaboration. She is excited to work with families and educators in Ward D and all of Edmonton to build strong public schools for everyone.
