These numbers represent enrolment on September 30 as submitted to Alberta Education.

Program enrolment may not equal a school's total enrolment because:

  • students may be enrolled in more than one program, and
  • some programs are not shown.

Enrolment data gives parents a general understanding of the number of students at a school or enrolled in a program. Although we’ve made every reasonable effort to ensure the data is accurate, there may still be errors. To confirm enrolment, contact the school.

About Waverley School

Waverley School provides a supportive, welcoming, inclusive environment in which students grow intellectually, physically, socially and emotionally.

We offer the regular program with French as a Second Language taught in Grades 4 to 6. We also offer the Cogito program for students in Kindergarten to Grade 3. Each year, the Cogito Program will increase one grade level until we reach Grade 6. Students in the Cogito program begin learning French as a Second Language in Grade 1.

Technology is an important learning tool at our school, and we provide additional support to address the needs of at-risk readers.

Co-operation between the school, home and community is encouraged and appreciated.

SCHOOL PHILOSOPHY

We believe:

  • that all students have the potential to be successful learners
  • that staff, students and parents each have responsibilities when it comes to the learning process
  • in maximizing student growth
