Full-day Kindergarten programming supports children living in socially vulnerable neighbourhoods who would benefit from extra time in class to build important skills in an inclusive, play-based environment.

Eligibility
Children must be five years old on or before December 31 and live within the school’s attendance area to be eligible for Full-Day Kindergarten.
Schools may have limited spaces available to children outside their attendance area. Parents are advised to follow the Kindergarten registrationprocess and apply to the school they are interested in their child attending. Once registration applications are in, any spaces available may be filled using random selection.
All Edmonton Public Schools programming is based on curriculum determined byAlberta Education. Children enrolled in Full-day Kindergarten will receive the same high-quality education offered in all of our programs.
