Honouring Indigenous Voices

Today is National Indigenous Peoples Day, and June is National Indigenous History Month. Throughout June, students and schools have been honouring some of the incredible achievements, traditions and culture of First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples.
The Division has created a new video resource for students called Listen, Hear, Learn: Honouring Indigenous Voices. The video highlights the profound connection Indigenous peoples have with the land, and celebrates Indigenous voices, language and culture. Thank you to the participants who shared their knowledge and stories.
