We recognize how challenging the past year has been for students and families. With that in mind, we’re offering two workshops to give parents and caregivers resources that support resilience and positive child and youth development, even during a pandemic.
The workshops will be led by Dr. Michael Ungar, a family therapist and professor of social work at Dalhousie University, whose research on resilience around the world and across cultures has made him one of the best-known scholars in the field. In his story-filled presentation, Dr. Ungar will share examples from his work on six continents showing how students, families and communities can work together to support student well-being.
