Get on board with bus safety at First Riders

Is your child a first-time bus rider? Join us on Tuesday, August 29 at the Edmonton Expo Centre for First Riders! This free event gives students and their parents a chance to get comfortable riding the bus before the first day of school.
WHO’S IT FOR?
First Riders is for:
- Pre-Kindergarten children and Kindergarten students
- Grade 7 students transitioning to Edmonton Transit Service
- Students who are taking the bus for the first time or who need a refresher

LOCATION

QUICK FACTS
First Riders is hosted by Edmonton Public Schools, Conseil scolaire Centre-Nord and Edmonton Catholic Schools, together with Edmonton Transit Service (ETS) and bus contractors in the Edmonton area.
This is the 15th annual event, and the first since 2019.
