It’s Pride Week at Edmonton Public Schools!

It’s time to celebrate Pride—June 5–9 is Pride Week at Edmonton Public Schools, and June is Pride Month.

We’ve recognized the first week of June as Pride Week in our Division since 2019, when the Board of Trustees unanimously voted to mark the celebration annually.

We have provided schools with ideas and resources to help them join in this year’s celebration of those who identify as being 2SLGBTQIA+, which stands for:

two-spirit
lesbian
gay
bisexual
transgender
queer/questioning
intersex
asexual
other gender and sexual diverse identities

Land Acknowledgment
