Have a great story to tell? From October 5 to 9, we’re celebrating the 26th annual READ IN Week. This yearly event highlights the importance of reading in schools, libraries, workplaces and community organizations. READ IN also encourages students to find books they love, so they develop a love of reading that continues throughout their lives.
This year’s theme is Tell Me Your Story! Each book tells a story, in a unique voice. Each author takes you on a unique journey. Reading feeds your imagination. What's your story? Let books inspire you, create your own universe, and tell me your story!
Anyone can participate in READ IN Week! In the past, we’ve welcomed athletes, politicians, authors, parents, students and community members to Kindergarten to Grade 12 classes across Edmonton.
