News item: We're hiring supply educational assistants

We’re hiring! We need supply educational assistants (EAs) with at least one year of experience working with children or youth with special needs.

Our supply EAs support students with developmental delays, emotional and behavioural challenges, autism, learning difficulties and/or physical health concerns so they can reach their full potential.

Put your experience to work by joining our team of dedicated staff who serve students from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 12.

ABOUT YOU

  • You are passionate about working with students.
  • You thrive in an environment that encourages collaboration and you adapt to change.
  • You have at least one year of direct, or related, experience working with children or youth with special needs.
  • You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Join us at an information session to find out more about becoming a supply educational assistant. Register via Eventbrite to secure your spot. Seating is limited at the event and we are not able to provide child care.

Info session dates:

  • March 13, 2019  3:00 p.m. or 4:30 p.m.
  • March 20, 2019  4:00 p.m. or 5:15 p.m.

Location: Centre for Education, 1 Kingsway NW

Parking: Free visitor parking in the underground parkade
